Andres Sandrea
Early Life: Born on June 16, 1996, in Venezuela, I grew up immersed in Karate, where I learned discipline, respect, and the importance of dedication. My early experiences with Asian culture and my family's adoption of a vegetarian lifestyle have shaped my values and outlook on life.

‍Path to Design: Initially pursuing civil engineering, I quickly realized my passion lay elsewhere. I explored various side hustles and immersed myself in business literature, but it wasn’t until I moved to the U.S. in 2018 that I found my true calling in design. Working as a Market Research Interviewer at Universal Orlando Resort, I honed my ability to gather insights and empathize with user needs, key skills that I bring to my design process.

‍Discovering My Passion: The 2020 pandemic was a pivotal moment. Inspired by my brother, I delved into the world of design, completing the UX Google certificate and developing projects like a movie theater app. Despite initial setbacks, I persisted, realizing that formal education was the key to unlocking my potential. Enrolling at Valencia College, I focused on becoming a Product Designer/UI/UX Designer while working at Walt Disney World.

‍Why Hire Me? My diverse experiences have equipped me with a unique blend of creativity, analytical thinking, and user-centric design principles. At Walt Disney World and in various sales roles, I refined my communication skills, learned to handle fast-paced environments, and developed a strong customer-first mindset. These roles taught me how to balance customer needs with business goals, a crucial aspect of effective design.

‍Design Philosophy: I believe in creating intuitive, visually appealing designs that resonate with users. My background in market research allows me to deeply understand user pain points and translate those insights into compelling design solutions. I am committed to continuous learning and improvement, always seeking ways to enhance my skills and stay current with design trends.

Hobbies and Activities: When I’m not immersed in design, I lead a vegan lifestyle and enjoy attending vegan events. I’m a black belt in Karate and a sports enthusiast, particularly passionate about soccer and Formula 1. These hobbies fuel my drive for excellence and competition, qualities I bring to my professional work.
